TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching Engineering to grades 6-12 since 2010. I've coached robotics teams since 2011. I've taught Revit to Interior Design College Students. I've taught both the Adobe and Autodesk Suites, Sketchup, Onshape, TinkerCAD, Fusion 360, 3D modeling and Printing. I've taught 4th-12th grades, college, and adults over the years. I run a robotics program with 6 teams, 3 honor societies, a SWENext club, have an Esports team, am the CTE Dept Head, am the Robotics and Design & Modeling course leader for our district, and ::sigh:: probably more I can't think of right now. My areas of specialty are 3D modeling and printing, Engineering, and Robotics.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Engineering is Problem/Project Based Learning. I tend to do short lectures, introduce a project, and let my students work to find solutions to the problem provided. Assessments are usually done in presentation form. Students keep an Engineering Notebook detailing how they followed he Engineering Design Process.
