Three Busy Besties

The Three Busy Besties have taught together for eight years and are thrilled to kick off another school year in second grade! Heather- The technology guru who solves all of our computer problems and keeps us hip on the up-and-coming gadgets. She’s taught second and third grade and is currently working as one of our District Digital Coaches. Mom to three little boys and a one girl; she’s a rock star at cleaning up messes, reading books, and living at the ball fields. Anna- Full of sass, Anna has plenty of opinions on education. She’s taught kindergarten, second, fourth & fifth grades and is beginning her eleventh year. A Georgia transplant, Anna loves country music, roller coasters, and French fries. Tracy- This woman goes a million miles a minute, dreams big, and always has a smile on her face. Tracy has been in second grade for fourteen years and is the glue that holds the team together. Mom to three darling boys, she spends her spare time camping with her family and chasing kids.

Our teaching styles vary, but we firmly believe that education should be an engaging and positive experience. We know children are born with a natural curiosity and wonder about the world and our role is to help foster a thirst for knowledge that propels them to become lifelong learners.

Accomplishments include winning an ugly sweater competition, reigning kickball champions, and feeling like celebrities when walking into the cafeteria.

Heather-Completed her bachelor's degree from Utah Valley University. Earned a master's degree from Southern Utah University with a Math endorsement. Recently finished her master's +30 by getting an ESL endorsement through Southern Utah University and finished her last credits through Utah State. Heather has been a presenter of the Common Core and Journeys’ Literacy Program. Anna- Attended Brigham Young University where she earned her degree in elementary education with a business minor. She earned her master’s degree from Southern Utah University and has endorsements in mathematics, reading, early childhood, and technology. Tracy- Received her bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley University. After attending Southern Utah University, she has earned her master’s degree, ESL and Math endorsements. She has earned a masters +30 credits. Tracy has been a presenter of the Common Core and Journeys’ Literacy Program. She currently serves as a 2nd grade teacher and our district 2nd grade Math Framework Leader.
