MY TEACHING STYLE

Teach, teach, teach

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

In 2007, I was selected to go to TEA and help edit the state's 4th grade reading test. Back in 1994, while I was still a college student, I won the city of Edinburg logo contest. My logo was used around the city for the next 10 years.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I majored in Art with a Specialization in Graphic Design. However, a couple of years later I went back to school, so that I could become an elementary teacher.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

My knowledge of teaching Elementary and the fact that I'm an artist with a graphic design background, allows me to create posters, files, activities, etc... We can't reinvent the wheel, but we can always better it, upgrade it and make it more aesthetically pleasing in our classrooms. p.s. I'm also an oil portrait painter.
