The Sleuthin' Sloths

I have been teaching for 14 years. First as a substitute teacher, then a first grade teacher, and now as a home school mother. I am certified in Early Childhood Development and also have a B.A. with Interpersonal Communications which has taught me how to speak to children in ways that they can understand best.

My page is called "The Sleuthin' Sloths" because I believe that all people should take their time to study and not jump to conclusions. There is so much to be found while you research...and while that takes place, children discover several extra facts along the way! My lessons are Christian based!!! Please be aware of that! The methods behind my store is supposed to be child-inspired based. We learn all of the basics at home, but my kids are FILLED with questions...many of which takes a lot of pondering and researching. So I decided to make my store focus on that, arbitrary questions and facts that kids can sprinkle into their normal study routine! Each lesson will be on various subjects that are not part of the usual curriculum. Students will learn the history of the subject as well as cultural, theological, and scientific connections interweaved in the lesson when applicable.
