TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hi there! I just finished up my fifth year of teaching. This past year, I made the switch to 2nd grade and had so much fun!! For four years prior, I taught kindergarten gifted as well as 1st grade gifted. I definitely have a passion for the little ones, and absolutely LOVE teaching reading and phonics!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I would best describe my teaching style as integrated and hands-on. I believe learning can and should be fun! I also think one of the most important aspects of teaching is flexibility. Classrooms should be student-centered and so should all the activities created for them. Above all, I want my students to leave my class with a love of learning!
