TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am an English teacher in the state of Texas! During the 2020-2021 school year, I will begin my 4th year of teaching. My first year I taught 7th grade English. Then, I mostly taught ESL and ESOL, will a dash of English 1 and 4 mixed in there. This year, 2020-2021, I am teaching English 1 and English 3.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strive to make my classroom relevant and engaging for students. My ideal lessons are hands-on, related to the real world, and match my students interests. As a teacher, I hold high, consistent expectations. I always do my best to teach with a smile, constantly reflect on myself, and aim to improve in everything I do.

During the 2018-19 school year, I received almost $4000 in grant money through my school district!
