TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching Social Studies for almost a decade and a half - I have created this Aim system to be used for ISS, CTT, and Mainstream classes - The concept of student accountability is the focus of these Aims - If a student misses a day, they know the work that they have to make up - If a student would like to move ahead, they have the Aim booklet to work from.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to use discussion as much as I can - Very often I will give students different readings with varying historic points of view, and have them discuss and debate.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have been featured in Community Magazine http://www.communitym.com/article.asp?article_id=101562 - and I have never gotten below an effective as an nyc doe teacher

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from SUNY Oneonta, I then got my Masters from Tourro College - I then used various courses to obtain my 30 above.
