The Lyna Effect

I am a strong administrative Foundation Phase Teacher with more than 10 years experience in teaching all subjects for Grade 1 up to 3 in a South African School. Since 2020 I have been working as a curriculum developer in South Africa, developing curriculum content, worksheets, workbooks and assessments for Grade R to 7 learners in various subjects

My teaching style often changes based on the subject and content that is being taught as well as the type of learners in my class. I however focus on using visual, auditiory and technological resources during contact time with learners. I also encourage learners to take part in hands-on activities whenever I am teaching a new concept to learners.

I matriculated with 4 extictions and furthered my studies at the North West University by optaining my Bachelours of Education Degree, spesialising in the Foundation Phase as well as Mathematics as subjects. I also completed a number of additional short courses including Environmental Education, The Mentoring Course and additional training in the GPLMS as well as CAPS program for teaching and learning.
