I became a teacher for 20 years ago now. After stepping into a classroom again, I realized this field was my vocation. I learned more about my skills and talents and felt like I wanted to share my knowledge and passion for learning with students. Teaching has helped me connect with students to make them realize their full potential in learning and in achieving their goals.
In choosing to be a teacher, there are many things you enjoy about this field. Some of these include seeing students’ faces light up when they are learning from you, having students realize their own strengths and building their confidence, and the most valuable is the opportunity it gives you to never stop learning.
