TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have experience as a school counselor in all grade levels. My experience spans a wide variety of school environments including Title I public schools, public schools of choice, alternative education, and online schooling. I also have experience as a Speech and Debate coach.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My counseling style is focused on building positive relationships with students. I believe having a strong and healthy relationship with a trusted adult can help give students a safe space to work on personal, social, and other issues. I also am a proponent of mindfulness and often use mindfulness techniques to help students cope with a variety of issues, including anger, anxiety, and stress.
