TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching visual arts and art history to middle and high school students for 20+ years. I have taught art in public school, private school, and in home school networks.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe art is all about the process not just the finished product. I focus on basic drawing skills and practice with various art media in all my art classes so that students have a good foundation. I like to provide visual examples that foster creativity. Art should always cross the curriculum and include history, literature, science and math!
