As a qualified teacher since 2011, I have had the privilege of working both in the UK and internationally, as well as with students who have special educational needs. Over the course of my career, I have developed a deep passion for supporting both adults and children with mindfulness practices. I believe that mindfulness is an essential tool for managing stress and anxiety, promoting well-being, and enhancing overall quality of life. Through my work as a certified coach, I love bringing coaching tools into the classroom to best support children and prepare them for the world. By helping them to develop healthy boundaries and manage their emotions in a healthy way, I believe that we can empower children to thrive in all aspects of their lives. Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand the benefits of mindfulness practices for both adults and children. By creating a calm and centered atmosphere in the classroom, we can help students to focus better, retain information more effectively, and develop a deeper sense of self-awareness. Overall, my passion for mindfulness and coaching has driven my career as a teacher and educator. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering learning environment for all of my students, and I am dedicated to helping them develop the skills and tools they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
As a qualified teacher with a passion for mindfulness and coaching, I have developed a teaching style that is both fun and nurturing, while also staying organized and structured. I believe that creating a positive, engaging learning environment is essential for helping students to thrive, and I strive to create a space that is both supportive and challenging. At the same time, I recognize the importance of structure and organization in the classroom. By having clear expectations and routines in place, I am able to create a sense of stability and predictability for my students, which allows them to focus and learn more effectively. However, I also understand the importance of flexibility in teaching. Every student is different, and it is important to be able to adapt to their needs and interests in order to keep them engaged and motivated. Whether it means changing up a lesson plan on the fly or incorporating a fun activity to break up the day, I am always willing to be flexible and responsive to my students' needs. Overall, my teaching style is grounded in a commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment that is both fun and engaging, while also staying organized and structured. By fostering a sense of safety and belonging in the classroom, I am able to help my students develop the skills and tools they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
