TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over a decade of experience teaching English to students with various levels of English ability. Many of my current students are comprised of first language speakers and second language speakers. I also have many students who are language acquisition.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Student centered learning: students are given the opportunity to take the lead in their learning. The presentations and lesson plans are often a guide that walks students through literary analysis while giving them a chance to make observations on their own or in groups. Younger grades (JHS) tend to have a little bit more structure to the lesson plans while older grades (HS) allows for a little more student focused learning.
