TEACHING EXPERIENCE

We have taught in a self-contained classroom for 20 years. I have taught music, however, for 35 years. I now teach mainly online and did. before COVID "made it cool!" due to an MS diagnosis. I continue to lead four counties in their management and teaching of English Learners (EL), Unaccompanied Youth, Migrant, Immigrant, and Refugees.

MY TEACHING STYLE

We prefer hands-on, visual teaching as much as possible. I believe in self-care for TEACHERS as much as anybody! Children also need ways to express their anxiety and learn positive outlets for their stress.
