I am a child-focused educator who supports student learning through collaboration and integrated instruction. I utilize formative assessment to drive my instruction and value data as a means to target student needs. I push my students to help them grow as learners and effectively utilize standards-based planning methods to support my diverse classroom. As a teacher, I celebrate community and individuality and strive to meet the needs of each student through differentiated instruction and a strong family-teacher partnership. I value literature-enriched instruction and constant collaboration with colleagues.
