TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I was a camp counselor and director for 10+ years, working specially with 3-5 year olds. Then, I did my student teaching in kindergarten and fourth grade. After student teaching, I was the assistant director for an afterschool program at a charter school for K-6, and then became the head of another program at a private school for K-8. I did that while subbing for pretty much every grade! I have taught PreK, TK, Kindergarten, and Third Grade. Now, I teach Sixth and Seventh!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try to bring camp to the indoors. I do a lot of collaboration and small group work. I tend to think of my classroom as "controlled chaos"!
