TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Teaching for the Weekend has been teaching for 12 years. Their elementary education studies include plans for special education, ESL learners, and gifted students. Their diverse classroom experiences have helped them create classroom materials that offer a beneficial and meaningful experiences for students of all levels.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Quite a blend! We love to do hands on exploratory activities and coach students through various problems and experiments. We believe kids learn best when interacting with hands on activities across academic environments. We love to read a variety of texts aloud, use graphic organizers, and let students collaborate within the classroom environment.
