I've been an educator for 11 years. I've taught Middle School Language Arts for most of my career and I just started 4th grade this year. Starting "from scratch" I have been making a lot of resources to use this year.
My students do lots of project based learning. I use novel studies for fiction and current events for non-fiction reading, real-life math problems in math, and research based projects in Science and Social Studies

Mother of 4 "things" ages 14, 13, 12, and 3! I enjoy reading realistic fiction and mystery books as well as the latest young adult novels! I actually love organizing my household, I'm a neat freak, and with 6 people it gets a little chaotic! I enjoy taking photographs of nature and my family. I love spending time on pinterest. During the summer and on school breaks I love traveling!
