Teacher In A Half Shell

I recently left the classroom after spending 10 years at an independent Catholic school. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. I've taught Literacy, Math, Social Studies, Science and Religious Education. My time in 4th grade was spent with a compartmentalized team where I specialized in 4th grade Literacy and Math. I found that I was always searching for easy, engaging religious ed lessons. So, I decided to create them myself.

Visitors to my classroom would describe me as a very animated, funny teacher. I am a very hands-on teacher and many times I am on the floor learning right along side my students!

I have a BA degree in Communications from the University of Colorado. I also have a Masters of Education and licensure from Regis University.

I am happily married with four boys, two daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren. My store name is a nod to our classroom turtle, Sheldon. I chose to launch this store to help pay for my passion for ballroom dancing. Lessons, competitions, and costumes are very pricey!
