ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am a former school librarian and in my educational experiences as a student, I was homeschooled, private schooled, and public schooled. I graduated from Griffin High, in Griffin, GA in 1990. I earned a BA in English and Communications in 1993. I later earned a M.Ed. in library media/instructional technology in 1996. I spent over sixteen years as a school library media specialist. In 2011, I left education when the field of library media began liquidation in force for media - and decided to homeschool my son. It was an amazing journey, just like my mother - a 1980s public school teacher - did for me in my homeschool education in 1988. I come from trailblazers! My son is a senior and will be enlisting in the U.S. Army. In 2016, I returned to Mercer to work on my MAT to get certified in Secondary English. On the side, I helped parents set up homeschools for free... And one day... I said... "I can unpack the standards, I know my testing, and it is time I help parents and teachers. I continue my TPT store. I help indie authors publish. I write my own novels and short stories. And now, I am officially going into homeschool resourcing. Thank you for visiting my page and learning about me! I specialize in liberal arts, transcript preparation (and brainstorming), secular and Christian homeschool curriculums, and academic research.
