Tanya Rae Teaches

I taught 5th grade for five years (two years in Atlanta, GA and three years near Madison, WI), taught as a substitute for two years, and recently returned to my teeny, tiny, Northern Wisconsin hometown, where I now teach 2nd grade! I am also certified to teach Theater Education and I just became certified as a High School Forensics Adjudicator.

Hands-on learning with a focus on integrating curriculum and technology with room transformations! I use Daily 5, CAFE, Rooted in Reading a version of Responsive Classroom, and TONS of awesome TpT resources.

I graduated from UW Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, minoring in Theater Education.

I am wrapping up my 9th year of teaching 2nd grade in the district where I spent my K-12 years! I enjoy creating educational resources and clip art. My husband and I, along with our two young children and beagle puppy, live in Northern Wisconsin on 100+ beautiful acres which we love to explore daily.
