TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught Pre-K (with my own kids) to tutoring 9th grade, but my main experience has been with fourth and fifth grade GATE.

MY TEACHING STYLE

The magic comes when I am in front of the students. You can't plan every teachable moment, so I try to be flexible and allow my students to guide the direction of my teaching.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Elementary Education in 1998. In 2006, I completed a Master's Degree with National University in Teaching and Learning with an emphasis on Gifted and Talented Education. I am CLAD and GATE certified and am currently a doctoral student in the Curriculum and Teaching program at NCU.
