TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hi teacher friends! Thank you for researching my profile. I've been a teacher for 14 years. My current position is in Gifted Education, where I have an opportunity to serve students in every Elementary School grade! My career began as a 5th grade teacher in a Charter School and carried me through 2nd grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, and 9-12 classrooms. I also have served as a teacher leader, bringing professional development to my campus.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love advocating for advanced and high achieving learners! I'm a high-energy teacher who attempts to bring as much joy to my students as they bring me. I tend to lean heavy toward developing Critical Thinking and Creative Thinking Skills; I want my students to leave my classroom knowing HOW to solve problems.
