TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught Elementary school in Florida for 10 years. I have taught first grade, second grade, and am currently teaching a 2/3 combo. I am currently the second grade team leader.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love interactive lessons. I love to have the students teach each other and learn through experiences. I strive to teach and encourage my students' independence. I dislike the amount of testing required, but I want my students to be ready for future required testing, so I give them relevant testing and strategies to learn how to take tests and study for tests.
