Stepping Stone Instruction

Hi! Welcome to Stepping Stone Instruction! We are Jaclyn Basso and Samantha Hansson. Together, we have been teaching elementary school for over ten years. Stepping Stone Instruction was developed to create a valuable resource for educators, parents, and students alike. We wanted to create virtual resources that could be utilized for a plethora of reasons. As educators and parents,we understand the importance of helping all children to succeed at their own pace. As educators,we also wanted to provide fellow educators with helpful resources. Thus,we have created instructional videos reflective of every grade level standard. In each video,you will witness three components. The first is an I Do Section where we the teachers model our thinking and explain the skill.The second is a We Do Section where students are given an opportunity to practice the skill and then are supported by our answers/guidance. The last is a You Do Section where students are given the opportunity to practice independently on their own and answer keys are provided in addition to other independent practice components that follow. These videos range between 20-40 minutes depending on the complexity of the skill. We feel that these could be used as a cost effective resource if tutoring is not an option, as extra reinforcement after a skill is learned, as extra practice for fast learners or any other reasons that would fit your needs. Our first available bundle is Fourth Grade Math Videos that cover all fourth grade math standards. We are currently in the process of creating other bundles for both Reading and Math in other grade levels. Please check back for new additions to our store! We hope you enjoy our product!
