I am a teacher, principal, and special education specialist, currently working at a Montessori elementary school. I wear many hats every day, currently teaching grades 4-7 in a multi-age classroom, principalling, and providing special education support to grades K-7.
My teaching style has always been very child-centered, with a focus on differentiated learning and meeting the needs of a diverse and unique student population. Working in a multi-age classroom means that each student is working at their own pace, and my focus is ensuring that each and every child gets exactly what they need out of school.
Yet to be added
I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in education, and went on to pursue my Special Education certification.
In addition to my professional roles, I am also a mom to two active young boys.
