TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After a long career in marketing and healthcare, I transitioned to teaching through a non-traditional licensure program. Along with my professional teaching license, I am certified in English as a Second Language (ESL), Marketing Education, Business Education, and Middle School (4-8) Math.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that education should be relevant to students and their future. I want to create empowered problem-solvers and not just answer-givers. Through problem-based learning and by overcoming obstacles that arise, students learn resilience and self-motivation -- skills that will propel them to success in the unknown future.
