Spark Learning World

Lely has been working with individuals with disabilities since 2006. Prior to her private practice, Lely was the Director of the occupational therapy department at Children’s Academy of New York and The McCarton Center. She gained a wide-range of experience working in public schools, private schools, and pediatric sensory clinics. She began Spark Learning World in 2020 aiming to provide meaningful resources to inspire and spark the joy of learning through sharing meaningful activities to help children develop skills and live happy lives.

She has a strong passion for working with children because they are reminders of the simple joys in life as they discover new things about themselves and the world each day. Lely uses creative individualized intervention to help her clients discover their fullest potential. She loves CREATING and always thinks about how she can make children enter a world of imagination and fun while also learning. This store allows her to share that with others, so they can also bring positive experiences and energy to all the amazing children they work with.

She received her Master’s degree in occupational therapy at The State University of New York at Buffalo with a Magna Cum Laude Honor.

She is trained in a wide range of modalities to target the individualized needs of her clients. She specializes in sensory integration and has completed the USC Sensory Integration CE Certificate Program. She is a provider for auditory intervention programs including The Listening Program and in-Time from Advanced Brain Technologies. She is also a Level 1 Certified Handwriting Without Tears Specialist. Additionally, she is trained in practicing neurodevelopmental techniques, reflex integration, interactive metronome, Astronaut Training, and The Alert Program for Sensory Regulation.

Lely Li has many roles, but each role is not separate in itself, but intertwined into the soul definition of who she is. She is a national board certified and registered occupational therapist (OT) who is passionate in helping children pursue a life full of meaning and value. She is a mother to three incredible children who are responsible for making her heart grow more than she ever could have imagined. She is also a wife to a supportive and loving husband who stole her heart in her freshman year of high school.
