TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a Special Education Social Studies teacher based in NJ. I have a Bachelor's Degree in History with teaching certifications in Social Studies & Students with Disabilities. I have taught mostly at the high school level with grades 9, 10, 11 & 12. However, I did spend approximately half a year as a 4th-grade teacher. I have experience teaching World History, US History, Holocaust & Genocide Studies, Financial Literacy & 4th Grade subject matters.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a strong love for play-based pedagogy. My classroom activities revolve around students. I enjoy using stations, escape rooms and other play/competition-based activities. I work on continuously following my students' lead and adapting my lessons to their interests within our content area.
