TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught ESL in Brazil fork-12, had my own language center where I taught Portuguese and ESL. I taught kindergarten and now I am teaching first grade. I have administered, implemented Professional development for guided reading, how to utilize phonics in small groups, CHAMPS, and Kagan structures. In addition, I have mentored a few fellow new teachers from grades k-5th.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I utilize the whole brain strategy to engage students and motivate them to learn through music and movement. In my classroom, you will find a fun and engaging learning environment with lot's of songs, and chants. Student ownership is a big characteristic of my classroom.
