I have worked for 9 years as a 3rd grade Spanish Dual Language Immersion teacher teacher in Southern California. I have my BCLAD credential for the Spanish language. I received my first tier GLAD certificate. I also have a subject matter authorization to teach beginning drawing and 2D art. I have also worked as an animation teacher teaching the art of animation and story design to 5th graders and to a summer military camp.

I worked as an artist for Disney creating the art concept for new video games. I am currently a 2nd grade teacher while still doing freelance illustration, cartoon, and animation work on the side. I received my bachelors degree from the California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts) in the field of Character Animation. I received my multiple subject teaching credential with embedded BCLAD from the California State University San Marcos.
I was born in Spain in a military family who moved around every three to four years. My family and I finally settled down in 1991 making California our home. I received my bachelors degree from the California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts) within the field of Film/Video - Character Animation. I worked for Disney for a year as an artist creating video game art concepts. Upon graduating from film school I decided to return to college for a second degree and teaching credential for primary education.
