This is my 19th year of teaching and I still love it! This is my second career--my husband and I still make and sell educational puzzles for kids.
I have to admit--I'm a little bit crazy! It's 8th grade, and Rule Number 1 is "Keep Them Awake"! We play lots of games, sing crazy songs they love to hate, and work our tails off! I'm also very much about Project Based Learning where kids are self-directed and fully engaged with their projects. If I'm working harder than they are, something's wrong!

I feel so lucky that I love what I do. I love being around the kids, and I love thinking up new ways to keep them motivated and learning.
