I began my career working as a research scientist! But after several years, I quickly realized my true passion is teaching. I am currently a High School Biology and Chemistry teacher in the state of Florida. I absolutely love working with students and helping them to become curious, well-educated, scientific citizens.
I started my teaching career during the 2019-2020 school year. During March of 2020, my school released for spring break and we did not return for the school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This drastically influenced my teaching style as I had to work quickly to transition to a entirely remote-learning classroom. Today, as a post-pandemic High School teacher, I want resources that can be used in person, face to face, hybrid, and virtual. I primarily create resources that can be used with Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets and easily incorporated across multiple learning management softwares. My goal is to design curriculum that helps students master and retain content. Additionally, I want to help teachers find and use resources that make their jobs easier!
