By River Otter Resources I spent the first six and a half years of my career teaching secondary mathematics at the high school level. The next six years were spent operating my own Montessori-inspired child care business that was partnered with the HomeStart / Early Head Start program. I am currently a stay at home mom, but to keep my head in the game I am beginning to polish up some curriculum materials I developed for my early childhood and pre-k program to share with other teachers!
I follow a child-led approach that focuses on relevant and emergent curriculum. I am inspired by the Montessori approach to education, and I use that influence to create high-quality lessons, activities, and materials.

I earned a Bachelors degree from the University of Maine with a double major in secondary education and mathematics. I am also currently 1 credit away from completing my masters degree in education - SO CLOSE! :)
