TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I started teaching in upper elementary, dabbled in pre-school and high school, but really found my stride when I switched to middle school. After teaching at international schools in many different subjects and grades (including mixed level classrooms) in a few different countries, I left the classroom to stay home with my baby girl until she was ready to go to school.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

My family moved a lot when I was growing up, and as a result I bounced around between public, charter, and international schools and one year I was homeschooled when we weren't sure whether we would need to move again in the middle of the school year. Experiencing all of these different school contexts is what sparked my interest in education and set me on my path to becoming a teacher. When I knew I wanted to become a teacher, I earned a Bachelors in Elementary Education (K-8) from Moody Bible Institute and a Masters of Science in Education from Cairn University.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Now I am expecting my second baby, so it will still be awhile before I am ready to jump back into the classroom, but in the meantime I am going back through materials I made in my years teaching and trying to get them polished and ready to sell here on TPT. My current goal is to post my first 50 products before my little boy is born. I have about 4 months to go! My plan is to celebrate that milestone with a "grand opening" sale when I post my 50th product. If you want to track my progress, feel free to check back in occasionally or follow my store to receive notifications of new postings.
