TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught a second, fifth and first grade. I am currently a first grade and I love it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

The most important part of teaching is getting the kids to understand how much you believe in them and care about them. Relationships are at the heart of learning. Once a positive teacher-student relationship is established, students are ready to succeed. I believe it is important to consider students learning styles and interest when preparing my lessons. Hands on learning, use of technology, paper and pencil, lots of small instruction! and inquiry-based lessons are all techniques I use with my students.
