I am a secondary Language Arts teacher based in Utah. I believe in saying "YES!" to trying new things—that's why in the last decade I've taught every grade in grades 8–12, as well as everything from English as a Second Language (ESL) to Honors English and ACT English Prep. I have presented at multiple educational conferences, including UELMA (2019), UCTE (2017, 2022, 2023), and an educational panel at San Diego Comic-Con International (2019).
My teaching style is skill-based (focused on Common Core standards), energetic, and focused on building upon students' prior knowledge. I believe that every lesson should catch students' attention and have clearly demonstrable relevance to them not just in their futures (e.g. college), but in their current lives. The artwork on my TpT resources is designed by using and modifying images listed as in the public domain, Creative Commons-0, and commercial use. If you have any questions regarding any of the artwork in my resources, please contact me.
