Structured and routine, acting out scenes to engage students and to give them mental images of what we are reading, loud, bigger than life, and fun!
I've been recognized as one of our district's top teachers and nominated for their teacher of the year; I've been recognized in our metro area as one of the top 20 teachers of the year; I was selected among 3 other teachers in our district to attend the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, GA; and have been recognized as the top scores on MAAP testing several times throughout my career.
