TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have twelve years teaching experience. Six years of experience teaching Special Education grades Pre-K to 5th grade. As a Special Educator I taught a variety of settings and students with varying educational needs. Six years of experience as a Reading Specialist providing research based interventions in math and reading to students in the Response to Intervention program. Recently I have completed the Level I certification in the Wilson Reading System and have several years of experience teaching Wilson Reading System, Fundations, and Just Words. I have ten plus years in using research based interventions to address a variety of student deficit areas.

Starting with diagnosis of student deficit area and providing appropriate intervention support using a multisensory strategic method.
