A multisensory approach using music and movement is Linda Quiroz's specialty. Providing dual language options is also at the top of her priorities and a plus for many bilingual and dual language campuses. Including parents in the process weighs heavily on Mrs. Quiroz's mind and she has produced material to train parents to support early literacy as well.

Linda Quiroz wrote 50 songs for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt's reading series, Journeys and Senderos several years ago. She has written, recorded and published dozens of children's songs and written programs for teaching a variety of subject matter for grades from Pre-K through exit level. Mrs. Quiroz continues to interact with teachers, students, and parents even after retiring. Mrs. Quiroz is particularly proud of her daughter, Kim Quiroz, who is a 5th grade teacher in Texas.
