Passmore The Pirate Handwriting Book is an easy-to-follow handwriting storybook that groups the lowercase letters by letter shapes as it tells a story of the pirates discovering the patterns that similar letters make. Following the Orton-Gillingham style of writing. The four-letter groups can help remove letter confusion and reversals. Weaved into the story is a focus on the vowel sounds, as the pirates discover that they can not read with the letters that they have learned to make. This book paired with my handwriting strips and mnemonic letters on my site, is a great program.
