TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Currently teaching years 3/4 in a regional Victorian town. I teach in a diverse and multicultural classroom with students who have a range of learning difficulties. I learnt the hard way to make sure that my lessons are engaging and exciting for students in order to minimize behavioural issues. My students can be challenging at times but all they need is a little understanding and compassion. They all thrive on positive feedback and reinforcement! Teaching is a passion that, for me, goes well beyond just a 'job'.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am an excited and vibrant teacher who is committed to providing optimal learning experiences with the goal of ascertaining students’ inner strengths to learn what inspires their learning. With a history of consistently achieving excellence in personal educational endeavours, I aim to give students the quality educational opportunities I had throughout my learning journey. I wish to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages expression and fosters individual confidence. I am committed to current teaching practices with strengths in applying innovative new age teaching ideals.
