I am a licensed teacher and professional curriculum writer and editor with ten years' experience in educational publishing. I have experience as a K-5 classroom teacher, intervention instructor, and tutor.
My mission is to promote conscientious stewardship of the earth and to provide accessible information about conservation while helping all learners master Common Core State Standards. I create engaging math and reading curriculum incorporating resources about endangered species, while fostering a compassionate, responsible community of young learners and advocates.
All Passenger Tutoring products are designed with conservation and thrift in mind. Worksheets are created on half-sheets when possible to reduce the amount of paper needed for printing. To conserve ink and toner, fonts are simple and seldom bold, and design is minimal. All materials are designed in gray scale to support teachers without access to color printing.
My products are sensitive and are free from racial, gender, and cultural stereotypes. They are also inclusive and free from references to religious holidays so you can be sure none of your learners will be alienated or made uncomfortable by the content.

I have a bachelor's degree in English and creative writing, as well as a master's degree in elementary education.
Named after the passenger pigeon, an American bird hunted to extinction in the 20th century, Passenger Tutoring offers elementary curriculum in the context of conservation, compassion, and empowerment.
