TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 3 years. I am certified to teach grades K through 10. I have a Masters of Science in Education along with a Specialist in Special Education. I have a (4 year) B.A. in Physical Education and Kinesiology. I have taught Grade 7, 1/2 split, and 5/6 split. Currently, I am working as a Physical Educator teaching grades Pre-K through 8.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Every child learns differently. Therefore, my teaching style is very flexible. I like to include differentiated instruction as much as possible. Where relevant, technology is included as well. Daily 5, Learning centers, Smart board, Bansho, and KWL charts are all examples of styles I use in the classroom. Constructivism is another approach I like to implement.
