By Northern Notes by Mrs Hunt I have taught for 23 years in public schools in Washington and Alaska. I have taught 4th - 6th grade as a classroom teacher and Pre-K - 6th grade as a classroom music teacher. I also teach at the university level, specializing in arts integration courses. I am currently an Academic Advisor for a homeschool serving students in grades K-12.
I value the Orff-Schulwerk approach to teaching music. I have extensive training in Arts Integration through the Kennedy Center. I seek to bring joy to my music and social studies teaching!
I have taught twice at the National Social Studies Conference (2013 and 2015).
