As a educator committed to providing her students with rigorous and engaging activities, I spend countless hours creating and organizing resources that will ensure my students have what it takes to explore text on a deep level and foster a love of reading and learning! Having taught both 5th and 6th grade reading and ELA, as well as currently coaching pre-k through 4th grade teachers, I know how important it is to have resources that meet the needs of our students' differentiated learning styles. My resources are focused on reading strategies, literature units, and ELA test prep.
In my teaching, I infuse strategies and skills into a balanced literacy curriculum. I love to get my students up and moving so that they are engaged in activities that are different each day, and ones that build a community and cooperation.
