I taught second grade for two years and then after having my children have volunteered and worked at churches for 20 years teaching, planning, writing lessons, running VBS, teaching video lessons and mentoring and guiding other teachers in mixed-aged classrooms on limited budgets. I found it hard to find lessons that fit small church environments and budget, so I used my many years of experience to write my own lessons.
I want the children to have fun, but also learn how to be better people by learning to share, be kind, be giving and loving God and others. I use hands-on activities as much as possible to reinforce the lessons. I also use everyday objects for object lessons, games and crafts making the lessons easier to prepare and more relatable for the children.

I have 3 adult children and have enjoyed raising them in the Christian faith and sharing my faith with hundreds of other children over the years. I love children and teaching them about God’s love and how to be better people. I write these lessons for others to use to spread God’s love to many other children. I also love to bake and take nature photographs.
