I have been a teacher for 7 years, In those 7 years I taught Emotional support for 5 years, career and technology course for 5 years, and 8th grade math specific for two years. While in the emotional support room I taught all core subjects and a transition (career course) to grades 7-12. In all positions that I have held, I have been responsible for writing, maintaining, and revising a case load of students IEP's. My true passion is special education and creating products that help those around me compose stronger IEP documents.
I believe the teaching styles I identify the most with are a differentiated style, demonstrator style, and a hybrid. I feel I identify the most with there styles due to my background and it requiring me to understand a classroom of multiple educational levels, manage a classroom with many behaviors, and also understand that education is not a one size fits all business.
