TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught Multilingual Learners for over 10 years in the Twin Cities Metro area. I've taught at High School, Middle School, and Elementary levels, which gives me a wide variety of experiences and strategies!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in writing my own units and lesson plans, in combination with the resources that I have. I implement culturally responsive strategies into every unit, in order to increase student voice and student choice. My students' backgrounds are vital to how they see the world, which is why their backgrounds should be included into my lesson plans.
