This is my fifth year teaching. I have taught in Title 1 schools in Texas and now Hawaii. I have taught 6th grade science for 3 years, STEM elective class, AVID elective and 1 year of 8th grade Science. I have been trained in ELPs, TALA, AVID strategies and SIMS.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe the more students interact with the material and topic themselves the more they will grasp the concepts. I, as a teacher, am more of a guide to knowledge and love to see more self discovery in a classroom and less teacher making discovery and having students take notes on said discovery.
